ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
To
be eligible for admission to first year of
diploma courses in Engineering, the candidates
should have Secondary School Certificate Examination,
Pune or any other equivalent examination with:
>> General science or Physics and Chemistry.
>> Elementary Mathematics or Algebra
and Geometry.
>> English with at least 50% marks
(375 out of 750) in aggregate if he is not
a backward class candidate and in case of
backward class candidates at least 45%marks
(337 out of750) in aggregate, from recognized
school in Maharashtra State only.
RESERVATION:
>> Provision
of 15% seats for candidates passing SSC Examination
with technical/vocational
subjects.
>>
15 %Seats of the sanctioned intake, course
wise, shall be reserved for the candidates
passing STD Xth Examination with technical
/ vocational subjects as prescribed by the
directorate of Vocational education, Maharastra
State.

The

Class candidates from Maharastra state is

Reservation for female Candidates:
30
% seats shall be reserved for female candidates
This reservation shall be with in all categories
like Open, SC, ST, VJ, NT1, NT2, NT3 and OBC.
MISCELLANEOUS
PROVISIONS:
Direct
admission to the Second Year of post SSC full
time Diploma Courses.

The
rules prescribed for direct admission
to second year if post SSC full time diploma
courses shall be available with head of
Institution. Candidates desirous of seeking
admission to direct second year may contact
the head of institution for further details
about the rules of admission & admission
schedule.

Admission
are done as per the rules & regulations
of DTE from time to time.

Selection
for admission shall be made strictly on
the bases of inter-se merit of the candidates.
Seats available for OMC candidates:
The
seats remaining vacant if any, after admissions
to all Maharastra candidates on the merit
list will be offered to eligible candidates
from the seats other than Maharastra state.
APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
Application
for admission in the prescribed form (attached
here to) should be submitted to the Principal
of the Polytechnic on or before the last date.
No application will be considered unless it
accompanies the attested copies of the following
documents:
For
all candidates
>>
True copy of the statement of marks and certificate
of passing of the qualifying examination.
>> School/ Institute Leaving certificate
of the institution last attended.
>> Statement of marks of HSC/MCVC wherever
applicable.
>> Certificate of passing Intermediate
grade drawing examination wherever applicable.
>> Father's/Mother's domicile certificate
if candidate has not learnt SSC and 2 preceding
academic years from school location in maharshtra. |
